The WGS Fastpitch Organization was founded to instill in its players the ideals of excellence in academics, good sportsmanship, accountability, honesty, loyalty, courage, teamwork and community.  The entire WG Shockwaves organization is dedicated to the idea that any athlete, regardless of race, creed, religious affiliation, or social economic status should be given that opportunity.  A competitive athletic experience can instill a good work ethic, enhanced social development, contribute to mental and physical health, and teach values of personal responsibilities, self-discipline, self-motivation and teamwork which may lead to higher successes on and off the field.

Participation in this experience will be demanding, require sacrifices and life adjustments.  It will require an extraordinary commitment on the part of the players, their families, and the WG Shockwaves coaches.  The goal is to achieve an extraordinary team that includes individual successes for each player.  This will demand an extraordinary effort for everyone involved with the WG Shockwaves.  This will deliver an opportunity for a positive experience that will affect our lives forever.
